    from a couple posts ago involved a couple hours of twisting with this:
    It smells vanilla-y. Very vanilla-y–like the extract that you use in baked goods. But it made my hair look good. Until another love comes along, it’s a keeper.

    I recently realized that I live in a town that has two Tim Hortons locations, yet no Swiss Chalet.

    I know it’s my second post in a couple of days. But it’s a Saturday. Going by what I last wrote, I’m not breaking any rules. 😉

    If Todd can make and keep a promise to himself to be out on his own boat within a year, then, surely I can commit to my own destiny.

    Two-thousand and eleven will be a year of new beginnings. Of that, I am sure.

    The writing schedule I came up with today almost brought a tear to my eye.

  • Re: The New Blog

    The other day I got all inspired when I saw Maegan’s blog. Saturday night, I hustled over to Tumblr and tried to set up an account.

    Turns out I already had one. Apparently it’s been up for a long, LONG time.

    So I decided to customize it a bit. And…Here you go.

    Tumblr seems to suit my short attention span. There are folks who offer long blog entries via that site, but overall, it seems useful for posting brief bits of wit and wisdom. Furthermore, I’m in the mood for a new aesthetic.

    Therefore, I’m taking a break from WordPress. I don’t feel like operating two blogs, but I believe a change is in order. I’ll let you know if I decide to change back.

  • My friends have been busy.

    My former housemate, Krystin, is one of the leads in the new CBC series, Republic of Doyle. The main character is a private investigator named Jake Doyle. Right now I can’t figure out if he’s a genius or a moron. (That’s a compliment, by the way.) Nevertheless, I like the show.

    And Krystin, if you’re reading this…You rock!!

    Also…I just found out that Maegan Guerette–of the FreeChurch Guerettes–has a blog. I haven’t seen anything quite like it. The way she integrates art and text into her work is really clever. Not to mention beautiful. 😉
